This is such a loving book, made me feel very inspired.
The book tells the story of a homeless ginger cat. Shows how difficult it is to live in the street, brings awareness to all the problems and dangers a homeless cat has to deal with.
This ginger cat lives a difficult life, and only in his old days, he is lucky enough to find a home.
I love how the story is written. One can feel a lot of passion and empathy in the words of this book. One can see that the author has a close understanding of this subject and has a huge love for animals.
The story is emotional but it is also entertaining, with a very good and clear narrative. The characters and environment have depth and beauty to them.
The illustrations are bright and colorful and do a good job portraying the characters and their feelings.
This book has opened my eyes and heart a bit more to the problems homeless animals face and to the importance of helping them. There is always the possibility to make life better by helping one of these animals, even if they are older like Carlin.
I strongly recommend this book.
Ben’s Adventures
I was deeply touched by this lovely book about a boy named Ben who has cerebral palsy. In the book, we can follow his adventure on the beach. He runs, flies and plays with his family. Everything happens in his mind but he is always joyful and with a big smile on his face. The book inspires to live one’s life to the fullest despite the physical problems one may have. It brings awareness about people with cerebral palsy – Ben may be in a wheelchair but he has a great imagination that gives him wings and freedom. He also has this amazing energy that inspires everybody and brings light to the world. The illustrations in this book are very good. They do a great job portraying Ben and bringing his energy to life. All the formatting and design of the book is very professional and well made. This is a beautiful book with such a powerful message. I strongly recommend it not only for kids and parents dealing with this reality but to all parents and kids. It is a very entertaining, fun and powerful book everybody can enjoy.
The Star
I got really interested in Judy Mastrangelo right when I first met her work. A contemporary artist doing such a meticulous artwork in this classic, traditional style is a really rare thing to find. I was very intrigued and curious to read and see her books. The Star is a book illustrating the famous poem Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star by Jane Taylor. I think the book is nice. The illustrations inside the book are as lovely as the cover illustration. The ageless, soft style in pink, blue and yellow of the illustrations fits nicely this classic poem. I appreciate the dedication with which these images were made, creating a dreamy world of orderly, sweet beauty. The design and formatting of the book are ok, but I think that these illustrations deserve more refined formatting. I recommend this book for children and adults who appreciate soft, classic, traditional illustration.
Arial, the Astronaut
Ariel is a young unicorn who is very passionate about space travel. She is drawing space crafts in her room when her imagination takes her to an adventure into space.
This is a fun, exciting story full of wonder and action. The illustrations are nice. I liked the style, use of color and compositions. The images are full of dynamic and details. They are engaging and fit for children.
A book that can inspire children’s imagination and adventurous spirit.
Firenze’s Light
I enjoyed this little book.
It is about a little firefly who doesn’t like her light and is always hiding it. With the help of her friends, she will learn to love her light and accept herself as she is.
The illustrations of this book are awesome. The illustrator did a good job playing with the light and shadow, creating great light effects, and bringing focus to the theme of the book. The formating is very professional as well. A beautiful book about self-acceptance every kid should have.
The Children of Slowville Book 2
I liked this book a lot.
It is a bilingual book so awesome for your kids to learn French/English.
This book tells short stories that happen in this awesome city called Slowville. This imaginary city is in harmony with nature, there are animals and vegetation all over along with the city buildings, roads, etc. The short stories are adventurous, fun and teaching things about animals and their behaviors among other things.
The illustrations are quite nice and clear. Has good formatting. Everything about the book looks well.
I recommend this fun book for kids 6+.
Roo, The Little Red Tuk Tuk
This is a nice little book, the text is well written. Tells the story of the life of a tuk-tuk. It is fun and entertaining. Little boys like my 6-year-old son will enjoy this book very much. The illustrations have bright colors and are engaging for young kids. There are many books about vehicles but this is the first one I find about a tuk-tuk. And kids love tuk-tuks. So I think this book is a good idea! I liked it!
And So Much More
This book is all about bringing positive energy and encourage kids to believe in themselves.
The text is simple, fun, energetic and works very well with the illustrations.
The illustrations are super cool and professional. The characters and the backgrounds are full of details and references to modern life in the city with all its diversity. Yoga, graffiti, Rastafari, and many other types of characters from different cultural and social backgrounds are represented in this book, having fun together and living in harmony.
A book with very good vibes and amazing style indeed.
I strongly recommend it!

The Hungry Fox
This book is about a hungry fox that is looking for food and meets many different animals throughout the day. Because he is selfish and not very kind, he misses all the opportunities to make friends and win a share of their food. At the end of the day, he ends up learning his lesson and winning a good dinner.
I would recommend this book if you want to teach your kid on being nice and patient and not jump blindly right into what you want.
The illustrations are very different from the usual. They have a digital, futuristic style going on. My 6-year-old son liked this book 🙂
