I loved this book! It tells the story of a brother and sister who sell carved figures in the market. They are not rich and need some new things to better their life. One day they find a magical knife that turns whatever they carve into reality. They carve several very big things, like a pot of gold and huge houses, they realize these things are not just fun, they come with a lot of responsibility and hard work attached to them. So they end up wishing to go back to their small house and their simple way of living. The story is wonderfully written! I was very entertained and interested while reading it. The message is powerful and beautiful and the illustrations are very well painted in watercolors, colorful and bright with great amusing details. I strongly recommend this book for any child!
When Owl Tries To Sleep
This book tells the story of an owl and a cat. During the day the owl wants to sleep but the cat chases it, mews, purrs and doesn’t let it. During the night the roles invert and its the cat who tries to sleep but can’t because of the owl. Finally, they end up cuddling happily.
The story is quite amusing and fun, I and my six-year-old son laughed with it and had a great time.
The illustrations are cute and naif, with big shapes and bright colors, fit for young kids.
FLUG AND THE ODDIES: GIANT BANANA
This book is very fun, it is about a bunch of surreal characters that are friends. One of them has a nightmare with a banana in it and we see the reactions of the others. Finally, they decide to go sleep at Flug’s house, who is the main character.
This book is all about the funny and crazy characters and their expressiveness. It has a small text which is very simple and kind of surreal too.
The illustrations are big, with clear shapes, very colorful and very dynamic. This makes the book perfect for young readers.
The style of the illustrations reminds us of the golden age of Disney from the early ’90s. Super crazy, entertaining and funny.
I recommend this book! You will have a great time reading it with your kids.
And Pip, Too!
Pip Too is about a big brother and his small sister. Every time the brother decides to do something, the sister wants to do it too, but because she is small she just kind of ruins the activity. She is full of energy and very funny, and the big brother is calmer and endures all her jumping around. By the end of the day, they go to sleep and show how much they love each other just as they are. This is a lovely story that reflects the most common relationship between brothers and sisters. The illustrations are entertaining and fun. I recommend this book.
Roma’s Gift
This book is absolutely wonderful!
It tells the story of a garden that is cared for by a little girl.
All the flowers in the garden are proud and happy when the girl picks them. That’s why they all want to have big, beautiful, colorful flowers with a wonderful fragrance.
But there is one plant who is different from the others, its flowers are small and plain, and it feels not as good as the others.
Later in the book, this plant grows delicious red tomatoes which the girl picks to eat with a friend.
Everybody in the garden understood that each one is different and beautiful, with unique gifts for the world and must be proud to be as it is.
The illustrations of this book are absolutely stunning. Full of light, vibrancy, and beauty. One of the prettiest books I have seen.
I strongly recommend this piece of art and beauty, great for any child and adult to enjoy!

Who Made a Hole in the Chicken Coop?
This is a nice story about a family of chickens living on the farm. One day they find a hole in the chicken house.
They start to try to discover who did it and go through all the animals on the farm. Finally, they discover it was their young daughter. She did it because she felt trapped and needed to break free from home and begin an adventure out in the world. The family supports her and gives her their blessings. The young chicken goes happy outside.
This story is fun and engaging. The illustrations are very well done. Bright, colorful, fun, with good characters. I am sure kids will enjoy this book.
The RED MAMMOTH
This book is about a little girl, who loves animals, and lives with her family during the stone age. One day the mom dies protecting the girl from a tiger. The dad and the little girl live on together but the dad feels a lot of hatred towards animals. The little girl dreams with a mammoth and asks her dad for one. He says mammoths are extinct and it’s impossible. One day a big fire starts in the forest and the little girl prays for her dad to return save. Finally, he arrives riding a mammoth who saved him. His hatred towards animals ends and the little family returns to life in harmony with the forest. This story is very touching and beautiful. We can feel how nature takes and nature gives and we must not feel resentful. It is a great lesson for children and adults. The illustrations are nice and create a good ambiance for the story. I recommend this book.

This is a great Christmas book! Little Arial the unicorn is learning about kindness and what Christmas spirit really is. She gives her old toys to charity and learns that kindness is to give without expecting things in return. Also, she starts a cool Christmas game with her family. For each act of kindness, one ornament is hung on their Christmas tree. So Arial becomes attentive to others and on how she can be helpful and kind in many different ways and in many different places.
